Caldwell, NJ in the 1950/60's.  Plywood, interlocking, cut with 100 figure pieces, substantially higher than comparable size Pastimes (@72).  Mahogany backing.  Artist is Paul Starrett Sample (b. September 14, 1896 – d. February 26, 1974), an American artist who portrayed life in New England in the middle of the 20th. century with a style that showed elements of "Social Realism and Regionalism."  From Wikipedia.  Art date is 1940.
