[David Copperfield Meets Mr. Micawber]

Catalog Code:
P- 1148
Description:

This small Pastime puzzle cut by #7 of Parker Brothers, Salem, MA arrived in original box without a label and no identification of scene.  Joel J. Brattin, Profess of Humanities at WPI and a Dickens expert, thinks the scene probably represents David Copperfield meeting with Mr. Micawber in the study of Mr. Wickfield who is the man behind the desk surrounded by books.  Alternatively, the man behind the desk might be Quinion (see Ch. 11), or Dr. Strong.  Other opinions are welcome!  Note Mr. Micawber appears to stand out with bolder colors, probably representative of his flamboyant personality?
