Hearts

Catalog Code:
1- 1071
Description:

Hearts must have been a favorite card game in drawing rooms of the upper class back around the turn of the century.  I can remember playing it at Amherst my senior year.  Should have spent more time on my thesis!  A Putmeright puzzle cut by T.G. Clark, New York, NY @1909.  Solid wood, non-interlocking, cut along color lines.  Artist's signature is unreadable but first name appears to begin with "M" and second name with "S".  Puzzle box bottom has stationery seal of David & Banister, Worcester, MA.,  No repairs needed.
