In early 2000, I received a call from a "picker" at a transfer station for private haulers, who had pulled a number of wood and cardboard puzzles from a truckload of puzzles about to be trashed. Among the find were 6 puzzles from the Mothers Bread series of advertising puzzles issued by Commonwealth Baking Co. of Worcester, MA! While I was delighted with this find, I was appalled at the thought that many more puzzles had gone on to oblivion and that anyone would throw away perfectly good jigsaw puzzles. Call your local antiques & collectibles dealer and maybe they will find their way to me!  Gifted to Worcester Historical Museum.
