Jack Be Nimble

Labeled from The Original Thread and Needle Shop in Boston, MA, puzzle was probably cut by Leisure Hour Puzzle Co. of Melrose, MA  c.1909.   Non-interlocking, solid wood.  A very old, quality children's puzzle.
Artist is M. L. Kirk.  Maria Louise Kirk was born in Lancaster, PA, in 1860.  Despite being a prolific and highly talented illustrator, especially of children, little is known of her life.  She died in 1938.
