Description:
Russell was in his 80's at the time he cut puzzles for us, but had started cutting back in the 1930's in a style which combined detailed color line cutting with interval knobs to enhance tight interlock, with many figures cut by free hand from looking at a nearby pattern book. Using pictures from a book of poster images by Peter Max, we now have several wonderful colorful puzzles like this one.
