Per Prof. Ginger Vaughan scene is from the Merchant of Venice, act 3, scene 2, around line 115, when Bassanio, who has come to Belmont to woo the fair Portia, correctly picks the right casket and wins her hand. The paper was inside the casket and tells him he has won. (the casket should be of lead, but it looks golden in the picture).
