The Petition

Catalog Code:
5- 5228
Description:

Very large (762 pieces) well cut U-Nit Puzzle made by James Browning, W. Caldwell, NJ 1950/60's.  Interlocking with 117 figure pieces, more than a comparable Pastime puzzle.  Unusual scene (haven't seen one like this in puzzles).  A kindly web browser has, again, pointed to Willem Geets as the artist, and the original painting is owned by the Walker Gallery, Liverpool, England.  Is the petition asking for a position for the boy in the royal household?  Disregard light reflection on left side.
