Tosca

Catalog Code:
1- 1187
Description:

Wonderful scene from Act I of "Tosca" by Giaccomo Puccini in which, after a jealous moment when Tosca sees features of her rival in Cavaradossi's painting, she is reassured by the painter's protestations of love. Cut by Emily Batterson, Hartford, CT circa 1909. Solid wood, non-interlocking, cut partially along color lines. Not as large as the Pastime version made by Parker Brothers displayed in this section and without figure pieces, but just as lovely a puzzle. Artist: Louis Saybold
