The Frolic

Catalog Code:
1- 1000
Description:

A great scene and puzzle, cut extensively along color lines from plywood by Isabel Ayer, Boston, MA/Picture Puzzle Exchange, 1910-20's. Plywood would be more appropriate for such a large puzzle because of its non-warping properties. Artist: Milo Winter. Miss Ayer had an impeccable eye for quality artwork for her puzzles. Probably the artist"s depiction of the Pied Piper fairy tale.  We have now assembled it twice: once in Worcester and once by our oldest son, Scott, and family out in Wisconsin.  It is time to pass this wonderful puzzle on to someone else in one of our annual Fall sales..
