A Waldo Bemis puzzle cut in the 1930's.  Interlocking, 12 figure pieces including puzzle title "Hold It", deceptive edges, stained back, overall well cut for the maker's lending library with aesthetically pleasing pieces and rates of 10 cents for 3 days, 5 cents/day overtime.  Artist is Harlander but I can't find anything further on him/her.
