Awaiting the Hero

Society Dissected Picture Puzzle "The Latest Craze" issued by Hamley Bros, London, England, between 1910 and 1925.  Plywood, semi-interlocking.  Unknown artist.  Presumably, idyllic scene is from Roman or Greek period when upper class women sat around awaiting their loved ones to return from the wars.  Neat picture on cover of box of 3 people assembling a puzzle.
