A Busy Wharf

Catalog Code:
2- 21217
Description:

The book, Trains to Victory, by John Kelly and Donald Heinburger, tells the dramatic story of the years 1941-1945 when U.S. railroads, using fewer cars and locomotives than in WWI, moved more tonnage and more passengers than ever before. The puzzle picture is the cover of this book and is generally credited to Heinburger.  A Little Cut-Up puzzle made by Harold E. Hamlen, Cummington, MA 1930's.  Plywood, interlocking, well cut along color lines.  Again, my favorite puzzle maker growing up.
