This double sided puzzle was cut around 1909 from solid wood, non-interlocking. It has 6 figure pieces in the form of initials: “LLR” and “NIT” for names which have been lost in history. A/k/a "The Skating Pond". A Currier & Ives print. Puzzle was part of lot Hildegard picked up (very cheaply) from the Worcester Junior League Shop to which they had been donated by the estate of Mrs. Roger Kinnecutt, Holden, MA. Scene on back (lobstering off coast) is not as interesting.
