Picture Puzzle Exchange puzzle made by Isabel Ayer, 294 Washington St, Boston, MA 1909c. Solid wood, non-interlocking (push fit), cut along color lines, highly irregular edges cut to emphasize central image. I have not seen such extensive irregular edge cutting by Ms. Ayer before. Artist is: Hans Olaf Halvor Heyerdahl (1857- 1913), a Norwegian Realist painter. His work was characterized by naturalism and focused largely on portraits and landscape paintings. Wikipedia
