Christmas Elves

Catalog Code:
5- 5037
Description:

Purportedly, this puzzle was cut by Lowell J. Reed, Shelbourne, NH. Anne Williams dates Reed as making puzzles in the 1960's, yet the style of cutting is totally non-interlocking with extensive color line cutting, much like many of the puzzles made back in the 1909 era, or possibly 1920's as the material is masonite. Artist is Erik Horsman.  I can find nothing about him.  A huge (1230 pcs.) and very difficult puzzle to assemble, but a very colorful Christmas scene when done.  If you want to display the puzzle at Christmas time, start early!  Otherwise, you will be assembling it over the holidays.
My photo (taken many years ago with a more primitive camera) does not do the puzzle justice (too much purple).  Sorry.
