[Cricket on the Green]

Catalog Code:
4- 456
Description:

Unusual (at least in U.S.) scene of cricket being played on a village green.  Note thatched roofs. A very British scene!  Cut by Charles Russell, Auburn, MA 1960/70's.  Plywood, interlocking, cut along color lines with 28 figure pieces.  This puzzle was found by my sister-in-law, Nancy Armstrong, so after making minor repairs and identifying it, I have sent the puzzle to her younger son, Walter Armstrong, who actually played cricket for a few years when their family was living in England.
