Great puzzle per my assembler, Alan Engborg, and myself after accidentally dumping the puzzle and having to reassemble it.  Push fit puzzles are difficult to handle.  Unknown maker but artist is the well known Cecil Aldin.  Inn depicted is The Maypole (The King’s Head, Chigwell) of "Barnaby Ridge".  On coach are:(L to R) Mr. Pickwick; Tracy Tupman; Jingle; Nathaniel Winkle: Joe, the Fat Boy; Snodgrass; Mr. Wardle; and Sam Weller blowing the long trumpet.. Characters depicted are from Dickens’ "Pickwick Papers".
