First Aid to a True Friend

Catalog Code:
P- 0635
Description:

Scene appealed to me, probably because I grew up with a dog for 15 years.  Even today, when out walking and encountering a neighbor walking their dog, I always stop and "talk" to the dog (not so much the neighbor!)  Pastime puzzle cut by #96, Parker Brothers, Salem, MA in 1929.  Plywood, interlocking, cut along color lines with 24 figure pieces. Artist unknown, but picture was used for a WW I poster and appeared in the Ladies Home Journal.  Dog is a Golden Retriever (we think).
