The Great Double Team Trot

Catalog Code:
A- 2
Description:

The second puzzle Conrad Armstrong ever cut, 1990, plywood, interlocking, cut along color lines with 2 figure pieces, irregular edges-outline (officials' booth at top) and protrusion (horse's hoof on right), and dropouts-enhancement (people in officials' booth). To employ so many special techniques in his second puzzle is remarkable. When Conrad started cutting, he used as his signature piece his initials, "CA" but soon adopted the Armstrong clan emblem of a clenched fist and arm raised in the air. The clenched fist and raised arm is now used by all family cutters including me. Artist: Currier & Ives.
