A Helping Hand

Appealing family scene with the grandfather helping his grandchildren up on the horse for a ride.  Semi-interlocking, cut by Pastime cutter #35, with color line cutting, 18 figure pieces, and large curl knobs.  Artist is Arthur J. Elsley.  Arthur John Elsley (1860-1952) was an English painter of the late Victorian and Edwardian periods, famous for his idyllic genre scenes of playful children and their pets.
