Moran, cut by James Browning as a U-nit puzzle, interlocking with 50 figure pieces and some color line cutting and inside edges.  Altogether, a spectacular puzzle. Thomas Moran (1837-1926) was an American painter and printmaker of the Hudson River School in New York whose work often featured the Rocky Mountains. Not to be confused with Percy Moran.  Wikipedia.  James Browning started cutting puzzles in the late 1930's and cut right up to the 1960's.  Many of his puzzles were marketed through leading department stores around the country and especially in the NYC area.
