Macy’s Department Store in NYC marketed very fine puzzles probably cut by the Parker Brother’s Pastime cutters. Puzzle displayed has excellent color line cutting and 30 figure pieces in the style of many Pastime puzzles and comes in a wooden box with a sliding lid. Scene appears frequently in 1930's puzzles. Artist’s name is unreadable but a helpful web surfer has suggested it might be Montague Dawson. Not early signs of "foxing" or discoloration caused by the acidity.
