The Houses of Parliament

Catalog Code:
2- 20544
Description:

A large Zag-Zaw Disguised Edges puzzle issued by Raphael Tuck & Sons, London, England in 1942 (date on label).  Plywood, interlocking, 60 figure pieces.  Very nice colors by unknown artist.  Note the scalloped edges ("disguised").  The Tuck plant was destroyed in a major German bombing raid on December 29, 1940 and plywood was scarce during WW II, so I question the 1942 date.  More likely, the puzzle was cut before the bombing raid destroyed the plant.
