This Pastime from 1924 shows a simpler cutting style and less complex figure pieces than later Pastimes. It is, nevertheless, a soft and beautiful scene which is a joy to assemble. Note the "WATER" cut into the puzzle; did the cutter run out of room for the 'R', or did she purposefully place it away from the rest of the word to confuse the puzzler? We will never know the answer! I suspect that the artist is R. Atkinson Fox, but we are not 100% sure.
