Intarsio Rialto Venezio

Cut by an elderly puzzle maker in Lecco, Italy named Cesare Rocchi.  His puzzles were displayed at the 2014 Puzzle Parley and his daughter arranged to send me 3 examples in 2016 as an "important person" in the jigsaw puzzle world. Cut from extra thick solid wood in a fantasy with curls style, the puzzles are both art and craft of the highest order. Thank you, Cesare!  Although Peter Chapman, a North Carolina woodworker's flyer is included with the puzzle and I list him as the "artist", the inlay was made in Italy which seems a bit odd.
