Lobe Harbour, Cornwall, England

Catalog Code:
4- 428
Description:

Puzzle commissioned by us for Charles Russell to cut.  Interlocking, cut along color lines with 11 figure pieces.  Russell was an excellent color line cutter and this picture (a photo) was most conducive for that.  Calendar description of Lobe Harbor included in box.
The fishing port of Looe (Cornish spelling of Lobe), Cornwall is split into East Looe and West Looe, each sitting either side of the estuary at the bottom of the valley. The houses cling to the steep valley side and make you wonder how they were ever built there. Looe Cornwall is still a fishing port and so there is plenty of opportunity to try the fresh local fish. East Looe and West Looe are only a short walk apart across the bridge or even quicker boat ride and so it is easiy to go between the two.  Wikipedia
