A very imaginative, unusual, interlocking puzzle (#38) cut by Ruth (Mrs. R.E.) Sthen of Woodfords, ME with color line cutting and irregular top. Artist is the well known Frances Tipton Hunter (1896 – 1957), an illustrator who created covers for The Saturday Evening Post and many other magazines between the 1920's and 1950's. Her work is very similar in style to that of Norman Rockwell--appealing and humorous. Wikipedia
