A Puzzle for Big Folks made by William Watson, New Bedford, MA 1909c. Unusually large (730 pieces) for the 1909 era. Solid wood, color line cut, non-interlocking, very challenging, excellent colors. Picture painted by artist Harry Roseland in 1899 was frequently used for puzzles. Roseland painted a number of scenes with black people in them; two are displayed on my website at: https://www.oldpuzzles.com/examples-collection/1900-1930-hand-cut-puzzles. All together, a great puzzle!
