Incredible trick puzzle which assembles 4 different ways; two trivial solutions of 3 and 2 puzzles, 1 large puzzle, or 1 two layered puzzle. Made by Melinda Shebell for the Pagey Elliott Puzzle Exchange at the July 2012 Puzzle Parley organized by Melinda and myself. Melinda made at least 21 of these, creating the artwork and design herself, to exchange with 21 other cutters. She made an extra as a special gift for me (I am not a puzzle maker and did not participate in the Exchange). Frankly, I could not figure out the solution for the two layered puzzle and had to loan it to Conrad, our son, to finish. And, in the process, a piece was lost by us, so Melinda graciously recut an entire section since she had the artwork and design stored on her computer. Plywood, color line cut, drop outs, irregular edges, all knobs in shape of leaves with micro dropouts around them (which is one of the reasons puzzle is so hard). A prized treasure which will remain in our collection. Melinda is one of the main reasons I cherish so much my involvement in the jigsaw puzzle world.
