Preparing for the Festival

Catalog Code:
P- 1061
Description:

Very large, wonderful puzzle to work and enjoy after finishing, despite a lot of brown, mainly because of the interesting cut and quality artwork.  Pastime puzzle made by cutters #15 and #49, Parker Brothers, Salem, MA in 1928.  Plywood, semi-interlocking, cut along color lines with 80 figure pieces.  No named artist but Pastime box was relabeled indicating puzzle was sold through the Armstrong Co., Boston, MA.
Light reflection along puzzle bottom  I sometimes think photographing puzzles is the toughest part of my work.  And it doesn't get any easier in old age!
