When we purchased a copy of the famous Stave "Champ" puzzle, we could not assemble it correctly. Even our son, Conrad, one of the premier puzzle assemblers in this country, couldn't "do" it. Upon returning the puzzle to Stave, they discovered it had been incorrectly cut and could not be assembled correctly. Being the top quality puzzle firm they are, Stave sent us a second copy of "Champ" (displayed above) and this little, very tricky beauty. The use of dropouts-deception around the little fish is what makes this small puzzle difficult.
