The Siesta

This huge (1000 pcs.), very feminine, even sensual puzzle was cut by Sara White, Bucklebury, Berks, England in 1995, interlocking, cut along color lines with 12 figure pieces (including signature piece of mouse) and deceptive edges. Artist is John Frederick Lewis, a British Orientalist painter. He specialized in Oriental and Mediterranean scenes in detailed watercolor or oils, very often repeating the same composition in a version in each medium. Wikipedia.  No repairs needed.
