A beautiful scene by Hy Hintermeister where hunter is trying to avoid confrontation with Mama Bear and her cubs and is quieting his dog. Hunter is probably after game birds and his rifle could only wound the bear making matters worse.  Pastime puzzle made by Parker Brothers, Salem, MA circa 1938.
