Tea for Mrs.Jarley

Catalog Code:
P- 1302
Description:

36 figure pieces, color line cutting, interlocking with foot knob style.  Unknown artist.  Scene is from Dickens Old Curiosity Shop when Little Nel and her grandfather were fleeing into the midlands of England and were befriended by Mrs. Jarley with her traveling waxworks.  Puzzle (clearly a Pastime) was reboxed for Frederick Parker Co-operative Libraries, Springfield, Boston (Imperial Jig-Saw Puzzles) and then box relabeled for Personal Book Shop, Boston, MA.  For all its "travels", puzzle is still a Pastime and in remarkably good condition.
