Description:
Two-sided, as are most map puzzles from the 19th. century, with a temple on one side formed by blocks reciting the books of the bible color line cut, and a map of Palestine in Arabic with key in English on the other. Solid wood with a maroon tape border. Artist is Charles E. Fitch. The puzzle box is marked as a Christmas gift in 1891. Similar puzzles regularly are listed for sale on Ebay.com.
