Three Members of a Temperance Society

Catalog Code:
1- 1727
Description:

Appealing scene by unknown artist but amatuerish cut with several mistakes, the worst being several sections were left entirely uncut.  Because puzzle is made of solid wood, these sections warped so badly puzzle was unworkable.  Despite advice to the contrary, I cut these sections emulating the style Beveredge employed elsewhere in the puzzle so that it could be assembled and displayed.  Beveredge did do some excellent color line cutting in the traditional 1909 era non-interlocking style (called "push-fit").  Puzzle is now both workable and displayable.
