Another terrific Pastime puzzle from Parker Brothers, Salem, MA; made 1912 c; plywood; semi-interlocking; 48 figure pieces; color line cut; artist: Crosio. From Act I: the King's daughter, Amneris is shrewdly questioning Radames (left) when her slave, Aida makes her entrance (right). Amneris's suspicions that Radames really loves Aidi are aroused by his inattention. As seen in the picture, Radames has "only eyes for Aida", a love affair which ultimately leads to the deaths of both Aida and Radamus in the classic style of grand opera. Opera is by Guiseppi Verdi.
