Parker Brothers Pastime puzzle cut by #754 1930/40s.  Plywood, interlocking, cut along color lines with 35 figure pieces.  Artist is the well known Hy Hintermeister.  Henry Hintermeister (1897-1970) was a painter and illustrator who painted in the Golden Age of Illustration under the signature Hy Hintermeister. He painted as a team with his father, John Henry Hintermeister, and together they created more than 1000 works.  Wikipedia.  The mountain lion's attention is on a small animal on the bridge.  But I doubt if the blue shirted canoeist can get off a shot before the canoe passes under the bridge and the lion is not likely to threaten the canoeists.  And his companion, standing in the canoe is such rough waters, will be lucky to  stay on his feet.
