Expert Criticism

Interlocking Victory Popular puzzle published by G.J. Hayter, Bournemouth, England 1950/60's.  Artist for this colorful scene is Al Grace, Alfred Lyndon Grace (1867-1949) is a British painter of period works.  The "expert criticism" in the puzzle scene is probably the subject of the painting telling the artist how to paint the subject.  Looks to me like the artist has already done a pretty good job!
