Interlocking, color line cut, stained back, trick edges, 8 figure pieces, many pieces cut with unusual shapes, interactive figures of woman running after 2 thieves w rolling pin.(probably stole a pie from her window sill). Should have saved all this effort for a puzzle with many more pieces so he could charge a higher price! He even has appropriately placed the woman and the thieves running up the path! Maybe today's cutters could get some ideas from Mr. Bemis. Puzzle more colorful than photo. Artist is C. Wainwright, a pseudonym of R. Atkinson Fox (1860-1935) per Wout Zwart, a leading Dutch puzzle collector.
