Another interesting puzzle cut by Waldo Bemis, Northborough, MA 1930's.  Interlocking,12 figure pieces,  Artist is Walter Baum.  Walter Emerson Baum was an American artist and educator active in the Bucks and Lehigh County areas of Pennsylvania in the United States. In addition to being a prolific painter, Baum was also responsible for the founding of the Baum School of Art and the Allentown Art Museum. Wikipedia  Assuming the name "Marion" refers to a town in Pennsylvania, there is a Marion, PA    Marion was originally called Independence, and under the latter name was laid out in about 1810.  A post office called Marion has been in operation since 1833. The present name is after Francis Marion, army officer during the American Revolutionary War, known as the Swamp Fox.  Wikipedia
