Very well cut puzzle from Walter Bemis, Northborough, MA 1930's for his lending library. Interlocking, color line cut with interval knobs in a 1-by-1 sq. kb style and 15 figure pieces. Puzzle had remained in maker's family until his granddaughter sold it to me. Back stained. Artist is Charles Relyea. Charles Mark Relyea was an American illustrator whose work appeared in magazines and popular novels in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Wikipedia
