Diecut (not hand cut) puzzle made out of cork by Detroit Gasket & Mfg Co., Detroit, MI in 1930s and marketed as Dee Gee "It's a corker" puzzles. Non-interlocking, 8 figure pieces. Artist is Edward Eggleston (1932). I find cork puzzles very unsatisfying because the pieces warp easily. Backward "S" is maker's signature piece.
