What Maggie Wore

Interesting, challenging puzzle made by Par Company, New York, NY, 1960 c., with great visual impact.  Assembling the gray top edge was a "puzzle" itself as the gray straight edge pieces did not interlock with each other.  Key was the spikes of the bars, not obvious when first assembling the puzzle without picture.  Plywood, interlocking, irregular top, cut partially along color lines with 30 figure pieces including "KMB", initials of first owner, and 2 sea horses.  Picture came from a poster featuring "Walter L. Main 3 Ring Trained Wild Animal Show". Circa 1930, with the ID in quotes cut off at the top.
