Harry Elliott

Harry Elliot was a French illustrator born 1882 and died 1959.  He was known for his gouache depictions of fox hunts, car races, monks and British historical scenes. Enjoying widespread popularity thanks to the reproductions of his works, Elliot’s illustrations were most often used for postcards or book illustrations for works by Charles Dickens and Jack London.
